Sprout Squad Privacy Policy

Sprout Squad is a casual farming game made by Tiny Acre Games ("we"), which is responsible for the data described here. We collect as little as possible. We don't ask for an account, and we never sell your data.

Data stored on your device

Your progress, settings, farm and the farmer name you choose are saved only on your device. Uninstalling the game deletes them.

Gameplay statistics

To improve the game, it records anonymous gameplay events. These include level started and finished, stars, how far you got in Endless Night, upgrades, ads watched, purchases and error messages. They are linked to a random ID for your installation, not to your name, email or contacts. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Share stats.

Ads

The free version shows two kinds of ads, provided by Google AdMob:

• Rewarded ads, always optional. You choose to watch one for a bonus, such as a revive, a free seed or doubled coins.
• Ads between levels, shown rarely: never in the first levels, at least three minutes apart and at most after every third win.

To show and measure ads, and to prevent ad fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, your IP address, general device information (such as model, operating system and language) and how you interact with ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first, using Google's consent form. If you don't consent, Google shows ads that are not based on your interests. In US states with privacy laws (such as California), you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for ads, through the same Google form. On iOS we don't track you across other companies' apps unless you allow it. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Purchases

You can buy Ad-free and optional farm themes. Ad-free removes the ads between levels, gives you every rewarded bonus without watching an ad, and includes every theme in the shop. Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details or your account; we only receive a confirmation that the purchase is valid, which the game uses to unlock it and to restore it (Settings → Restore).

Who we share data with

Only the services above: Google (AdMob, its consent form and Google Play) and Apple (App Store), plus the analytics provider that receives the anonymous gameplay statistics. They process data under their own privacy policies, and may do so outside your country. We never sell or rent data to anyone.

Legal basis (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

• Personalised ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Gameplay statistics and error reports: our legitimate interest in fixing bugs and improving the game. You can object by turning off Settings → Share stats.
• Purchases: performing our contract with you.

How long we keep data

Gameplay statistics and error reports are kept for at most 26 months, then deleted. Data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data.

Children

Sprout Squad is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

• Turn off gameplay statistics in Settings → Share stats.
• Change your ad consent, or opt out of the sale or sharing of your data for ads, at any time in Settings → Ad choices (shown where the law requires it: the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws).
• Reset your advertising ID or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
• Ask us to delete any data linked to your installation by emailing us.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email us to use any of these rights.

Delete your data

These steps cover Sprout Squad by Tiny Acre Games.

1. Your progress, settings, farm and farmer name live only on your device. Uninstalling Sprout Squad, or clearing its data in your device settings (Settings → Apps → Sprout Squad → Storage → Clear data), deletes them for good.
2. To stop gameplay statistics from now on, turn off Settings → Share stats in the game.
3. To ask us to delete the gameplay statistics and error reports linked to your installation, email support@tinyacre.games with the subject "Delete my Sprout Squad data". We answer within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
4. Ads data is collected by Google AdMob. Reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on most Android devices), and see Google's own controls.

What is deleted and what is kept:

• Deleted: the gameplay statistics and error reports linked to your installation's random ID.
• Kept: records of purchases, which Google Play keeps for your Google account so you can restore them. We can't delete those; you can see them in your Google Play account. Nothing else is kept by us after a deletion request, beyond what the law requires.
